Happy Birthday Risk Evolves!
This year, Risk Evolves turns seven. The last 12 months have been incredibly busy. Similar to the majority of organisations in the UK, we’ve seen changes driven by global, national and local events, together with positive changes within our own organisation. With war in Ukraine, the ongoing challenges of the global economy combined with delays in supply chains and significant challenges in the global marketplace, to shortages in skills across all industries and inflationary pressures in the UK, the need for strong and effective governance and risk management has never been more justified.
Sharing lessons and knowledge has never been more important, either on a local level with our friends in the NoJargon team, or nationally when Helen has been asked to contribute to news articles such as this one in the industry magazine for Risk Managers, it’s been a busy 12 months.
The not so distant future…
The next 12 months look to be no less quiet. Here at Risk Evolves, we forecast that the demand for organisations to demonstrate Environmental, Social and Governance credentials will increase. You can find out why we chose to apply for Ecovadis and BCorp certification here.
We can see that the world of Information Security and Data Privacy will undergo further change, with a revision to the ISO27001 expected later this year, together with possible changes to our privacy legislation as outlined in the Queens Speech. And as the world returns to the post-Covid ‘new normal’, we expect greater focus on Health and Safety, specifically focused on Mental Health and wellbeing. That’s why at Risk Evolves, we have developed our offerings to focus on 6 key pillars to become your ‘one stop shop’ for help with Governance, Risk and Compliance:
- Risk Management
- Data Privacy
- Information Security
- Health & Safety
- Environmental, Social and Governance
- ISO standards and Certifications
Rapid change has changed and increased risk. What hasn’t changed is how we deal with risk at Risk Evolves and the help we can offer our clients to identify risks and opportunities within their organisations.
